Goodwin Hospice is built on a simple belief: everyone deserves comfort, dignity and connection throughout life’s journey. On our campuses and in our wider communities, our story is shaped by the people we serve, the team that walks beside them and the purpose that guides it all.

Goodwin Hospice is part of Goodwin Living Health and the wider Goodwin Living family, a not-for-profit organization with deep roots in Northern Virginia. While Goodwin Living serves older adults through its senior campuses and services, Goodwin Hospice brings comfort, presence and purpose wherever people call home.
We focus on personalized and spiritual support. We take the time to listen, understand and respond to each person’s unique needs — whether that is a caring touch or a patient friend to talk to. Our care reaches beyond the patient to support families, caregivers and communities with empathy and expertise.

Many of the most meaningful services we offer—massage therapy, end-of-life doulas, Threshold Choir visits—are made possible through the Goodwin Hospice Fund. Administered by the Goodwin Living Foundation, this fund ensures that every patient receives thoughtful, holistic care, regardless of financial circumstances.
Support from donors helps us say yes to moments of peace, dignity and healing that go far beyond what most hospice programs provide.
